Galvanization (electrophoresis)
Galvanization (electrophoresis) is the use of continuous (galvanic) current, low voltage and low strength for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes
The application of these currents turns out to be versatile:
• anti-inflammatory
• pain reliever
• vasodilator
• absorbable
• improves metabolism and regeneration.
May have a normalizing effect on organ function and stimulate immune processes. Galvanic current is applied when:
• diseases and injuries of the peripheral nervous system
• diseases and consequences of vascular infectious and traumatic origin diseases of the central nervous system
• chronic inflammation of various organs
• disease of the musculoskeletal system
When a galvanic current is combined with a drug (electrophoresis iontophoresis)
the pharmacological effects of the administered drug and the purpose of administration are taken into account.
